Our hearts are overflowing with joy and gratitude. At Dr Robert Ouko Comprehensive School in Kisumu, 350 children now have access to clean, safe drinking water—a transformation that will impact their health, learning, and daily lives for years to come.
This incredible milestone has been made possible through the generous support of an anonymous donor, who fully funded the drilling of a new borehole. We are deeply thankful for this act of kindness and celebrate the blessing it brings not only to the school but also to the wider community.
Until recently, the situation was very different. The children depended on harvested rainwater, which was often unclean and required purification tablets. At times, supplies ran low, leaving some children to bring water from home just to get through the school day—or go without.
Now, everything has changed. The drilling was successfully completed in April, just before the children returned from the Easter holidays. The process included thorough testing to ensure both the quality and sustainability of the water source. One key test involved running the supply continuously for 12 hours—and we are delighted to share that it passed. The results confirmed that the water is clean, safe, and reliable.
This is more than just a practical improvement—it is a moment of real excitement and hope. A simple yet essential need has been met, opening the door to better health, improved concentration in class, and a brighter future for every child at the school.
We give thanks to God for this provision and for everyone who prayed and supported this project along the way. As it is written:

And this is only the beginning. Any additional funds raised will go towards helping another local school that is also in urgent need of clean water. We are also looking ahead to the next step—developing proper sanitation facilities to further support the children’s wellbeing.
