Letter of Gratitude

‘If infrastructural facility challenges at our school could be equated to an ocean, l believe you would stand tall and tell the world that you have scooped up quite a lot of its waters.’
Letter of appreciation to All Kisumu Children Supporters from Alice Aoko, retiring Head Teacher of Tiengre Comprehensive School (TiCS).

Thank you greatly for giving our children a shoulder to lean on. You have always been there for us, and at no point shall we take it for granted. TiCS has become a magnet school (learners come and are retained. Learner population was at 1030 by the time of my exit. This is not a mean achievement).

All these are as a result of the facilities you have given the school ranging from school fence and gate, guard room, four new classrooms, ten renovated classrooms, desks, cupboards, chairs, water, modern toilets, generator, modern kitchen, and dining hall. Thank you very much… I have left the school far much better than I found it in 2010. All because of what you have done for the school during my tenure. Thank you.

It is still my humble request that if our God opens up financial avenues then the school foundation (ECDE learners) be considered and given some physical play equipment. I am happy and thank you all.

We are a UK based charity working in the Kisumu area of Kenya.

So many children in Kenya struggle through incredible poverty. They regularly go hungry and expect nothing more.
